Antonio Conte has confirmed his starting XI for this afternoon’s trip to Everton.

The Italian made the perfect start to his tenure following a 3-2 over Vitesse in the Europe Conference League on Thursday and has therefore kept with the same side that defeated the Dutch outfit despite their fightback.

It’s a back-three once again, which consists of Eric Dier, Cristian Romero and Ben Davies, who starts consecutive Premier League games for the first time since February.

Emerson Royal and Sergio Reguilon are the wing-backs, whilst Oliver Skipp and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg are the midfield two, meaning Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso are on the bench.

Moving forward, Lucas Moura and Heung Min Son are supporting Harry Kane, who’ll be hoping to add to his 11 Premier League goals against Everton.

  1. I’m unsure what he see’s in Davies. He has always been an average player who would struggle to get into championship sides or even Scottish teams.
Why isn’t Rodon being given a chance or Tanganga a role in centre back. Dier could be dropped too but perhaps we just need to focus on a left sided centre back. Just because Davies has a left food doesn’t make him an instant reason for starting in position of LCB.

I think Hojbjerg could be replaced too.
