Heung Min Son has sustained another injury on international duty.

The Tottenham forward injured his calf whilst playing for his country back in the September break and then missed the 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace later that week.

And Son has suffered another issue, this time to his ankle in South Korea’s 1-0 victory over UAE on Thursday.

Korean journalist Steve Han confirmed the injury and said that Son was carrying a “minor knock” ahead of their game against Iraq on Tuesday afternoon.

However, Han provided a more encouraging update on Sunday afternoon and revealed that Son is “fine” and returned to training earlier today, which will no doubt be a huge sigh of relief for Antonio Conte and everyone connected with Tottenham.

Therefore, Son, who scored the opening goal of the Conte era against Vitesse earlier this month, should be fit to start against Leeds when Spurs return to action this weekend.
