The entire Tottenham team appears to be improving under Antonio Conte’s management, but one player – perhaps surprisingly – is standing out among the rest.
Eric Dier has been superb since Conte took over, making the middle centre-back role his own and adding some much needed consistency to his game.
His defending has been excellent, as has his long passing from the back – especially in Sunday’s 2-2 thriller against Liverpool.

So good to see;people forget that up to the 2018 WC(inclusive) he and Alli were outstanding for club and country.It is only in Pocc’s last year in charge and under the thieving conman of Mourinho and Nuno that their form fell off the cliff.
A very good player doesn’t become bad almost overnight and here is proof that under the magical Conte he has found his true form again.
Fingers crossed Alli and Winks can also rediscover their old form.
