Tottenham will be offered the chance to sign Real Madrid attacker Isco this month, according to the Mirror.

The January window will give Antonio Conte the first opportunity to improve his squad and the Spanish international is reportedly on Spurs’ radar.

Isco has made just seven La Liga appearances this season and the report believes that he isn’t in Carlo Ancelotti’s plans, which could pave the way for a January exit.

The 29-year-old will become a free agent at the end of the season, but this month is the final time that Madrid can cash-in on him.

But whilst Tottenham could be offered Isco, a source close to the player say that a decision won’t be made until after Madrid’s next three fixtures, with the his party waiting to see how many minutes he plays in the next seven days.

Tottenham have been linked with Isco on several occasions in the past, but with six months left on his Madrid contract, this represents their best chance to sign him.

  1. If the right price then worth a punt. He has been class on his day and should still have something left in the tank. Loan in Jan with option to buy in Summer for a nominal fee or free. If he’s just looking for a payday at Premier prices then come the Summer let him go!
Better fit than Coutinho and cheaper wages.

  2. Agreed- great player in his prime but if I recall rightly he was very temperamental. If he’s calmed down a bit he could be a real asset for a few years

  3. Agree BUT when will Spurs get him because spurs is well known as last minute buyer which Is not in good health as spurs should buy 3 new players in first two weeks in Jan

  4. Used to read this blog. Just one too many deliberately empty and misleading articles nowadays. Good news, American fans are their for the grooming, Oops, I mean taking. Footy was truly a great game and sport. The new industrial complex-play thing-political arena is considerably less so. Great time for the business and ruling elites. Oh (and terrible levels of journalism where, grown folk get to be treated and talked to as excitable kids, whose abilities to recall, deduce or rationalize all for a small fee lmao)
    Baseless headline. Usual sad story.
