Tottenham are keeping tabs on Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Club captain Hugo Lloris is out of contract at the end of the season, although Antonio Conte recently suggested the Frenchman is set to sign a new deal (via the London Evening Standard).

In any case, the Manchester Evening News believes Spurs are eyeing potential replacements – and Henderson is among the targets.

The Londoners are said to be ‘monitoring Henderson’s situation’ ahead of a possible summer move for the 24-year-old, who is apparently eager to leave Old Trafford on loan this month.

That means Henderson could play for another Premier League club for the remainder of the season before making a permanent move to Tottenham at the end of the campaign, if Conte wants him.

But in all honestly, if Lloris extends his contract then it’s very unlikely Henderson will join Spurs, as he will be second-choice just like he is at United.

Tottenham definitely need a better deputy than Pierluigi Gollini for next season, but we don’t think it will be Henderson.
