Tottenham and Valencia have agreed a deal for the loan of Bryan Gil, according to Fabrizio Romano.
On Saturday we relayed word from reliable transfer journalist Romano claiming Spurs were yet to decide whether to give the green light for Gil to join Valencia on a deal until the end of the season.
But it seems Tottenham have done some thinking and come to a decision since then.
Romano now says the loan is a done deal, with medicals and an official statement to come before Monday evening’s transfer deadline.
Bryan Gil to Valencia, done deal confirmed and here we go. It’s a straight loan – NOT including any option to extend for one more season and no buy option clause. ?⚪️ #Valencia

The journalist also notes the exclusion of a couple of key clauses – there is no extension clause nor a buy clause in the deal.
That means Valencia will not have the option to extend the loan by a further year in the summer, nor will they be able to make Gil’s stay permanent.
All in all the deal can only be a good thing Spurs, with Gil now set to get some much needed game time that will hopefully aid his development.
