Perhaps the most positive deadline day exit at Tottenham was that of Bryan Gil, who joined Valencia on loan until the end of the season before the January transfer window closed.

The winger only arrived at Spurs from Sevilla last summer but has already departed, albeit temporarily, for his native Spain where he will hope to gain some much needed first-team experience.

And thankfully it looks like he is set to be a key part of the Valencia team for the remainder of the the campaign.

Gil played 90 minutes in a 2-1 La Liga win over Cadiz on Wednesday night, and it looked like he enjoyed himself.

As can be seen from his individual highlights shared by @JaviRoyeula on Twitter, the 20-year-old played brilliantly on his debut, showing off some fine dribbling skills and neat passing.

  1. Gill always reminded me of the 16-18s that make their first team debuts & charge around like a puppy after the ball – full of enthusiasm & energy but no direction.

  2. Another signing that excels in a position for his club ( Gil as a left winger), we sign him and then never play him there. As Conte plays with wing backs there is no chance.
