Eric Dier is expected to be available for Tottenham’s trip to Manchester City on Saturday after the premises liability definition.
The centre-back has missed seven of the last eight games with a thigh problem sustained in early January, but is closing in on a return to action.
In Dier’s absence, Spurs have failed to keep a single clean sheet, meaning his return will be a welcome boost for Antonio Conte following a difficult week after defeats to Southampton and Wolves.
Cristian Romero is now back in the side, and has shown promise, but the form of both Ben Davies and Davinson Sanchez have highlighted Tottenham’s need to get Dier back in the side.
And according to the Evening Standard, he’s set to be available for the daunting trip to Man City this weekend, where Spurs will be hoping to avoid losing four Premier League games on the bounce for the first time since 2004.
Oliver Skipp, who’s missed the last three games, isn’t likely to be fit enough to feature.
Wow.I will go to the bookies and place a bet that we will lose 5-0 instead of 6-0.
We really need him back in a bad way. I wouldn’t bother risking him for this next game however.
