Tottenham are already making “preliminary” moves to sign Southampton right-back Tino Livramento ahead of the summer window.

Right wing-back remains a problematic position for Antonio Conte, who’s been using both Emerson Royal and Matt Doherty of late, but with little success.

Doherty scored his first goal against Leeds last weekend before assisting Dejan Kulusevski’s but has struggled to replicate the kind of form that made him one of the most dangerous attacking wing-backs at Wolves, while Royal has been short of consistency since signing from Barcelona.

Therefore, Football Insider believe that Tottenham are targeting 19-year-old Livramento, who’s enjoyed an impressive breakout season since joining from Chelsea last summer, with sporting director Fabio Paratici already making early moves.

Livramento has scored twice and laid on two assists in 24 appearances in all competitions and has increased his stock with a number of outstanding performances for Southampton.

According to WhoScored, the teenager has been the Saints’ fifth-best player in the league, with his 6.91 rating better than both Royal (6.84) and Doherty (6.78).
