Tottenham have swooped to sign the former West Ham keeper Jimmy Walker on a free transfer. I wouldn’t reckon there’s much chance of him forcing his way past Cudicini and into the first team, but at least we’ve now got some experienced cover until Gomes returns.
I must admit that I’ve signed Walker myself as goalkeeping cover, when playing as Tottenham on Football Manager and as I’ve lead us to several Premier League and Champions League titles, there can be no greater indication that Harry has made the right decision.
