On This Day In Spurs History: 11th May

1989 – On this day in 1989, Giovani Dos Santos was born. Signed from Barcelona, Dos Santos has so far played 15 games for Spurs, scoring one goal. I’ve got a feeling that those statistics won’t ever need updating.

1993 – Spurs thrash Arsenal’s ‘kids’ yet again, as the Gunners choose to field a weakened side before the FA Cup final and then moan about it afterward. Tottenham triumph 3-1 at Highbury, thanks to goals from Teddy Sheringham and two from the young John Hendry.
