Spurs’ trio of players were largely interested onlookers during last night’s England friendly with Denmark.

Michael Dawson played for 60 minutes and although he seems to be sharing the blame with John Terry for Denmark’s goal, he will have been hoping to have staked a claim for a place in future starting line-ups.

Kyle Walker and Jermaine Defoe played no part and with Darren Bent opening the scoring, Defoe could see himself slip down the England pecking order, despite his recent hat trick against Bulgaria. Elsewhere, Steven Pienaar scored a rare goal for South Africa in their 2-0 win over Kenya.

With so many important games coming up, it’s easy to get sucked into an Alex Ferguson mentality and take no interest in a game like this. Are we still pleased to see our Spurs players involved with England or are we just happy to see them come back in one piece?

  1. Don’t be fooled by Cuntpellos and his snubbing Spurs players how the hell can he over look Lennon and not give Walker a run out i will tell you Harry Redknapp when he called Capello stupid and through his hat in the ring for his job. Then our players where always going to struggle to get past City’s Italian Mancini boys and this is behind Cuntpello’s pathetic snubbing of Spurs players it will all end in tears trust me.
