Niko Kranjcar praised the strength and unity of the Spurs’ squad, as for the second week running he fired in the winner to secure a 2-1 victory.

Speaking to ESPN, Niko said: “Luka , Gareth and Rafa were missing so it shows what a great squad we have and shows we are ready to push on to get into the Champions League again this season.

“It’s a great feeling and getting six points in two games is massive for us.”

Actually Niko, it’s nine points in three games, but you didn’t play in the other one, so we’ll let you off. The win sees Spurs back in fourth, ahead of Chelsea who play tonight. Perhaps more importantly, we are now only two points behind Man City with a game in hand.

Kranjcar went on to say that he would love to feature in the Milan game, but with VDV coming back he may be back on the bench. With the form he’s in though, do you think we should find Niko a place in the starting XI tomorrow night?

  1. Niko does deserve a place in the side tomorrow. Most importantly we need athletes with stamina for tomorrow’s game. Players in defence that need to shadow AC’s strikeforce wherever they go.

  2. Very similar to last season when whole squad did their bit ac have more to lose they need 2-3 goal lead, i see us losing 3-2 tomorrow which should be fine back at lane one two players should be fit but what more interesting is the next run of games- Blackpool, wolves, west ham ,Wigan and stoke if we win all 5 we will be 62 points 9 point short in my view from top 4 finish

  3. Why has Bale not travelled yet Crouch with a worse back and the same epidural injection has travelled women have Babys with this injection bale has rest 40 MILLION Utd reasons more like the truth. We will need plenty of luck with the team we have left.
