Spurs have no new injury worries ahead of tonight’s game with Arsenal. That will give Harry Redknapp an interesting dilemma with a first choice midfield of Bale, VDV, Lennon, Modric and Huddlestone to select from.
Redknapp has gone to 4-4-2 in the league which would mean that one of those five would miss out, so will it be 4-5-1 again to accommodate Van der Vaart?
The back five is likely to be unchanged from the Real Madrid game and up front, Peter Crouch could well return from suspension after his brace against Stoke. Will he partner Pav in a 4-4-2 or will VDV slot in behind him?

I’d tend to side with Tom, although I can see the advantage in playing two strikers. I use the term “strikers” loosely of course.

Tom is bang on with having kaboul at RB cos he was quality there in the run in last season & i’m fed up of charlie. Hudd just gets the nod over sandro (again him & modders during run in were excellent). Got to have lennon and I agree we need two strikers!
So here it is……….VDV benched. Loved him when he was running all over banging in the goals and generally looking great, in first 10-12 games. Recently he looks overweight & his inclusion inhibits our attacking play.

Its a hard call Sandro would really dominate Arsenals weak midfield, he wouldnt let them have a second on the ball.
Thing is we need to attack them as that where they are weak, I know the exact team Redknapp will play.
