Spurs are linked with Lyon ace Lisandro Lopez for £14.5 million, The Guardian reports that if Spurs fail in a move for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba they will turn to the Lyon forward.

At 27 and with Lyon struggling to qualify for the Champions League he is a viable target and if Spurs get fourth place their chances of bagging Lopez will be significantly better.

Lopez shouldn’t cost much more than £15 million, he is a proven goalscorer and I believe he would be a great addition to the squad. Could he be the missing link?
