Tottenham’s latest target Leandro Damiao has received a glowing endorsement from his fellow Brazilian Sandro as Spurs may be set to battle it out with Barcelona for his signature.
Leandro is still only 21 and has just made his debut for the full Brazilian side yet his performances for Internacional have made Barca take notice. His compatriot Sandro had this to say about him.
“He is a very strong guy, he is the perfect size for English football, he can do very well here,
“The directors always talk to me about Brazilian players. They asked me about Leandro Damiao and I told them he’s a fantastic guy of high quality. Hopefully we will knock on the door of Inter very soon,”
Leandro looks an interesting prospect but will cost around £12m. Harry needs someone who is guaranteed to come in and score goals so does this sort of fee represent too much of a ‘punt’ for a young player or could Leandro Damaio be a genuine answer to our goalscoring issues?

Soo happy Redknapp is off, let him sign Phil Neville, Scott Parker, Rob Green, Beckham and Roger Johnsen for Chelsea…..no ambition that bloke, Let Ancelotti go and sign Falcao, Lavezzi and Damaio, and we can finally say goodbye to long ball Crouch.
I think that Gamero would fit better whit spurs than this guy, But both are really good sprinter that kan help alot for VDV and Modric to play there through balls!

It’s all rubbish anyway. Uncle Harry will leave but only for the England job at the end of the euro’s. Chelsea represent too much of a job risk not just for Harry but a whole load of of top managers. (8 managers in 8 years, I mean c’mon…!)
