Steven Pienaar’s injury season has limped into summer with news that he faces groin surgery. The operation will not take place until the midfielder returns from international duty with South Africa and the player himself is quoted as saying:

“The injury has been giving me lots of problems over the last few months. I’ve decided to go for the operation after the international.”

It is anticipated that the operation will sort the problem that has dogged the player since he arrived from Everton in the January transfer window and Spurs fans would hope that they can finally see the best from their only major winter signing. However, others would possibly question the timing of the surgery and may have hoped that it were sorted sooner rather than later.

  1. Should’ve never picked him up.. all hes done since hes been here is take playing time away from Kranjcar, who unfortunately seems on his way out.. Harry should be punched in the dick for not giving Kranjcar playing time especially after 2 game winning goals against bolton and sunderland..

  2. this is irrelevent but for the love of god get a haircut.. it looks like a garbage fire broke out above your ears

  3. He should have surgery sooner rather than later. Thats the only way he will play for his club quicker and for his country. +, Nico wants to leave so screw him.
