Having given your verdict on the player of the season, it’s time to have your say regarding your favourite goals from the last campaign.

As you would expect from Spurs, there were some stunning strikes and many of our goals from 2010-11 featured on Match of the Day and Sky’s regular competitions, but which of these really stands out?

Needless to say, Gareth Bale would feature heavily in the list and any of his strikes in the San Siro could be a contender but maybe his volley at Stoke would be the best of his particular bunch.

VDV weighed in with some stunners, including a Goal of the Month Winner at Aston Villa on Boxing Day while Luka Modric’s effort at home to Stoke is worthy of a mention. From midfield you can also add Sandro’s strike at Chelsea and Thudd’s trademark thunderbolt against Arsenal.

Not surprisingly there wasn’t too much from the strikers that can be added but Jermain Defoe, when he did score, made them long range efforts while Pav scored some real beauties. Either of Roman’s two goals on the final day could be included but maybe his volley at Bolton was the best of the lot. (Perhaps Alan Hutton’s curling effort in the same game could be included?!)
Doubtless there’s some that have been missed so what was your best goal from last season?

  1. Thudds goal was bloody amazing! Surely a 30 yard weaker foot half volley that would have killed Czesny has got to be 2nd or even 1st place?!!

  2. Bale’s volley at Stoke.
VDV’s goal home and away to villa- when he made dunne fly in the air and the Bale and Lennon break at Villa Park
Pav’s volley at Bolton and curler again Birmingham.
Kranjcar’s scorcer against Bolton and his amazing volley against Sunderland.
    Defoe’s brace against Wolves.
One of the ones above will take my vote.

  3. Vdv’s wrong foot finish vs Arsenal at home – just inside the keeper’s near post. Quality. If he did not score that, I think we would have gone on to lose. Sandro’s goal vs Chelsea. But that Vdv goal vs Aston Villa away involving Lennon & Bale whilst a man down was beautiful.

  4. bale at stoke technically the best
sandro at chelsea the most spectaculy but kaboul at the meirates the most exciting by a long way

    • Oooh. Yes. Forgot about that one. Only one place to put it…and he put it there! Important goal too, Inter Milan, Ac Milan would have been fantasies rather than reality.

  5. hahaha filthy spuds all your goals were trash. wont win europa league and wont qualify for any european football next year. CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEVER AGAIN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEVER AGAIN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEVER AGAIN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEVER AGAIN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEVER AGAIN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEVER AGAIN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEVER AGAIN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEVER AGAIN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEVER AGAIN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEVER AGAIN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEVER AGAIN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEVER AGAIN

    • Well unlike the Pool, we don’t need to Champs League to turn a profit. When we qualify again it’ll be for footballing reasons, another year out for you lot and the debtors will be cleaning up your financial shitheap.
