Spurs seem likely to make several changes to the starting line up for tonight’s game against Orlando Pirates in an attempt to bounce back from Saturday’s disappointing defeat.
However, it looks as if the home fans will be denied their wish to see Steven Pienaar in action as he struggles to recover from a knee injury. Manager Harry Redknapp had this to say about the player’s situation,
“He has got an injury so he is still not quite fit to play, he’s training but he’s doubtful again tomorrow, maybe Saturday we could see him playing hopefully.”
While it’s unlikely that key men such as Gareth Bale, Luka Modric and Rafael van der Vaart will be risked for 90 minutes, they could start the game tonight in the hope of getting some early momentum into what we hope will be a victory in this Vodacom challenge.
