The latest centre forward to be linked with a move to White Hart Lane is Goran Pandev, a 28 year old Macedonian striker who is currently on loan at Napoli from Inter Milan.

Pandev has enjoyed a mixed career to date and while he has netted 24 times in 61 games for his country, his record elsewhere has been a little unimpressive. After scoring at a respectable ratio of around one in three for Lazio, he managed a mere 5 goals in 46 Serie A games for Inter. As a result, Pandev was farmed out to Napoli at the start of this season and has yet to score for his new side.

It’s thought that Sevilla have also turned their attentions to the forward after being priced out of a move for Giovani Dos Santos and if Spurs were to drop their price for the Mexican, it would leave the path clear for a move for Pandev.

Other than Spurs and Sevilla, there don’t appear to be too many suitors for Goran Pandev but looking at his overall record, it’s not hard to see why.

  1. Sevilla want him as a second chocie to Gio and we would try to seel Gio to afford him? How does that make sense — he’s clearly not as good as someone who’s not good enough for Spurs.
    Damiao please.
