Yesterday we looked at the possibility of new arrivals at White Hart Lane and the general consensus was that we were due for a quiet day. Later in the evening, reports suggested that Vedran Corluka was a target for Bayer Leverkusen and they seem to be gaining momentum this morning.

At the start of the month, Harry said that the Croatian would definitely not be leaving but after omitting him from the cup games where much of the fringe side appear, it may well be that Charlie is on his way.

Elsewhere, after suggestions that Gio dos Santos’ move to Spain would be completed by last weekend, the Mexican remains at the club while the talk has gone a little quiet.

Finally, QPR continue to be linked with Heurelho Gomes and Roman Pavlyuchenko in the wake of what the Daily Mail calls a ‘training ground bust up’ involving the Russian striker.

The departure of any player would leave Spurs a little thin with regards to cover but with these four barely featuring this season, they are unlikely to be desperately missed.

  1. Do Santos going nowhere, bayern only want charlie on loan for rest of season, pav out priced and the rumours about rodalega are totally stupid he’d struggle to get in the reserves! Cant see much happening to be honest!!!!

  2. Just hope Defoe stays. He’s the top scorer with less time on the pitch than Adebayor. In fact, Adebayor has started looking both slow and poor in front of goal lately for some reason. Am I the only one who has noticed that?

  3. I mostly hope the Rodallega rumors are false. Why repalce “not good enough” with “slightly worse”?

Why don’t we actively pursue Damiao? He’s become expensive but it’s worse to anything at all if we can’t use them; 10 or 15m for another bench player is a COMPLETE waste. We have those — spend the 25m, or whatever, and get someone who will help us compete.
