It’s been a while since Spurs were linked with a move for Brazilian international and Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Willian but the 23 year olds name has appeared in the rumour columns once again.
Willian has been made available for transfer but his Ukrainian employees are said to be looking at a fee in the region of £19.5 million for a man also said to be targeted by Chelsea. The Stamford Bridge men are believed to have made an offer themselves in January and have also been connected with this story in recent weeks.
Willian seems a decent player but would probably represent more of a ‘punt’ than Joao Moutinho, the man who seems most likely to fill Luka Modric’s boots once the Croatian’s move is completed.
