Carlisle looking to scare Spurs

by Matthew Harris on September 25, 2012

It’s Carlisle next for Spurs in the Capital One Cup and the league one side seem confident that they can cause an upset. Perhaps their manager Greg Abbott had in mind that AVB may send a fringe squad to this fixture but he feels that his lowly team can give us a scare at the very least.

“I’ve said it before, a full Brunton Park cheering on their team makes it a test for any team and we certainly don’t want to just turn up and give it to them,” Abbott said.

“We want to see the same levels of determination and honesty and if we get them then we might just give Spurs a few scares along the way.”

Carlisle are currently eighth in league one and are actually unbeaten in their last five matches in all competitions. Depending on the side that we put out, Abbott and his men could do more than scare Tottenham tomorrow evening.

You are already about to piss your pants over an unknown league one side. Says a lot about you lot.

I’m placing an order for a mind-the-gap T-shirt.
