International weeks mean quiet periods for clubs but they also lead to a host of transfer rumours that may not have otherwise hit the headlines and the latest name to be linked with a move to Tottenham is 21 year old German midfielder Patrick Herrmann.

Herrmann has spent the whole of his early career at Borussia Mönchengladbach but despite a string of representative appearances at youth level, he has yet to break into the full German national side. He has, however, been capped at every level up to and including under 21 and many believe that his first full cap is imminent.

Herrmann’s efforts in the Bundesliga have attracted plenty of interest around Europe and reports today are claiming that Spurs and Inter are battling it out for his £7.5m signature.

  1. Yeah but is Hermann the German any good? Anyone seen any youtube clips? i can’t be bothered to look so if anyone else finding some stuff out would be appreciated. Unless of course he doesn’t end up signing for us at all, which of course is a vague possibility
