Spurs are a top priced 3.25 with bet365 to get back to winning ways with a victory over Manchester City at White Hart Lane.

The recent stats are not good as far as the LilyWhites are concerned have lost their last four Premier League encounters with Roberto Mancini’s men.

Since defeating Arsenal at home at the start of March they have also won just four points from four games in the top flight (W1 D1 L2).

However they are more than capable of beating anyone at their best, and with three points vital in their bid to secure a top four finish and automatic qualification for next seasons Champions League it would be no surprise to see them upset the odds and turn over the title holders.

Gareth Bale has been hugely influential this season, and has been sorely missed in recent games after being ruled out through injury.

It will be interesting to see if Andres Villas-Boas risks starting him for this game, with the other option being to out him on the bench.

If he does start then he would have to be the choice in the goalscorer markets.

The Welshman is priced up at 6 with Paddy Power to net the opener and a standout 2.62 with sportingbet to net anytime.

In his absence Emmanuel Adebayor would be the pick at 8.5 with Paddy Power and 3.5 with Stan James in the same markets.

Over 2.5 goals looks a solid bet at 1.91 with William Hill given that there have been 14 scored in the last three league meetings between the pair, and both teams to score also looks well worth considering at 1.67 with William Hill given the attacking prowess of both sides.

For those that like to play the correct score market I am going to suggest a small wager on Spurs to win either 2-1 or 3-1.

Those scorelines can be backed at 12 and 29 respectively with Stan James.
