Mousa Dembele returns to the Spurs side following a brief spell on the sidelines but the man to make way for the Belgian is striker Roberto Soldado.

Dembele’s inclusion is the only change to the starting line up which reads,

Lloris, Walker, Rose, Dawson, Vertonghen, Paulinho, Dembele, Bentaleb, Eriksen, Lennon, Adebayor.

Soldado drops to a bench which also features Andros Townsend, who hasn’t played since Tim Sherwood’s first game in charge on 18th December. Our subs are,

Friedel, Kaboul, Naughton, Capoue, Townsend, Defoe, Soldado

What do you think of the side – should Soldado have been retained or has Sherwood got it right with a five man midfield?

  1. Why are we playing with a defensive line-up at home, Sherwood doesn’t seem to have a clue, he did this against Man C and look what happened there, he it showing sides to much respect and showing to much fear, instead of playing to our strengths, I cannot understand why he has suddenly dropped Chiriches, he was been one of our best CBs, he should be playing instead of Dawson, is it a bit of the old pals act again playing Dawson, personal feeling should not come into team selection, look what happened when AVB did it!!
