After a blank FA Cup weekend, Spurs are preparing for the next fixture – a Europa League tie against Dnipro with the first leg taking place in the Ukraine on Thursday. It’s a competition that some feel could get in the way of our push for Champions League football but nevertheless, Head Coach Tim Sherwood is vowing to take it seriously.

However, when speaking to the Mirror, Tim did suggest that there were plenty of opportunities to rotate the starting XI.

“I love it and there are a lot of games coming up. We are out of all the other competitions and we have got a big enough squad,” Sherwood said.

“There will be opportunities for other people to play and the games will come thick and fast on Thursday and Sunday.

“We might have to rest a few and change the selection.”

So Sherwood is promising a strong squad with one or two surprises but what changes do you expect to see from our usual Premiership starting XI?

  1. Its a chance to win a trophy but I dont want to see any key players risked (llores, jan, rose, mossa and ady) unless we are close to winning the cup

  2. Surely we can field a second string team for this away game and spare many players this trip. Sick of dropping points in the BPL after EL games, its no excuse, espescialy with the big squad we have now.

    ……………………Friedel
    Naughton Dawson Capoue Fryers
    ……………Bentaleb…Sandro
    …..Townsend……………..Sigurdsson
    ………………Soldado..Defoe

This team should be more than enough for Dnipro and then we can field a fresh strong team against Norwich because 3 points at Carrow road is more important.

    ………………….Lloris
    Walker Kaboul Vertonghen Rose
    …………..Paulinho..Dembele
    Lennon………Eriksen……….Chadli
    ………………..Adebayor

This team can take 3 points at Carrow Road
