There’s no official word from the club as yet although we can probably guess the team news ahead of Saturday’s early kick off with West Ham. We know that Andros Townsend has been ruled out for 10 weeks while Kyle Walker is another likely absentee but Etienne Capoue and Jan Vertonghen have returned to training.

It might be a little too soon for either Etienne or Jan to feature in this game but a place on the bench is more likely. Otherwise it could well be the same side that started against Stoke last weekend.

Roberto Soldado and Gylfi Sigurdsson will be among those aiming for a start but here’s how we think Tim Sherwood will set us up – what’s your opinion?

    • Agree. And not sure what Chadli offers. Rather go with Siggy. Still, it’ll be interesting watching the race between Dawson and Carroll !!

  4. yes unfortunately this will be our team tomorrow…

    naughton, dawson, rose & kane should all be playing for norwich / sunderland / villa / newcastle and wouldn`t get anywhere near any of the other top 7 clubs starting XI`s

    chadli and lennon are average squad players at best….& if (as reported in the press this week) chelski are preparing a £20m bid for paulinho the world has gone f**!ing mental!!

  6. Lennon was awful against Stoke but often does well against West Ham. I’d replace Chadli with Dembele, apart from that same team as last week. Prediction score 2-2

  7. Hopefully Pritchard will get a run out. Got a feeling he’ll be a very good player if we give him a chance. I think he’s got the flair to shine amongst our quality players. There’s a few young lads that deserve opportunities and with Sherwood you know they will get them. It’s very important we make the most of our academy because there are some gems in there at the moment. We could waste a lot if talent if we replace Sherwood (assuming we do) with the wrong man
