Tottenham have reportedly agreed a fee of £5m with Swansea that will see Kyle Naughton move to the Welsh club.
Naughton arrived at Spurs from Sheffield United in a joint deal that also saw Kyle Walker move to White Hart Lane. Yet while Walker became a great success, Naughton struggled to establish himself and was often played out of position at left-back, where he looked terrible.
Tottenham fans were quickly out in force on Twitter to debate the transfer, with opinion seemingly split as to whether Swansea have been ripped off or whether the £5m is a fair price for the player.

Has Daniel Levy convinced Swansea to part with £5m for Kyle Naughton!? By jove, the man's a negotiating machine.

£5m for Naughton is fair enough. Perfectly solid right-back, not too old, good passer of the ball for Swansea too.

Levy at it again, somehow mugging off Swansea £5m for Naughton.

So Naughton to Swansea that's more money we have not to spend on players

£5million for Kyle Naughton? I don't understand how Daniel Levy hasn't been done by the Office of Fair Trading yet.

Kyle Naughton a good signing for Swansea. Forced to okay a left back a lot despite not being one. Decent RB. Just not quite good enough

£5m for Kyle Naughton is daylight robbery. One of the few reasons I can stand Daniel Levy. Swansea have been #Levyed

Thought Poch might have been what Naughton needed. He wasn't up to snuff for us, but I don't recall him whining about it either. #coys

Naugton is a good right back just not as good as walker period, when yedlin plays you will relise that,
Well good luck to Kyle, who is not they best RB in the business but he is not terrible and has never moaned about anything as far as I know. He just got on with the the job and will be solid for Swansea. Pity we could not do a deal with Bony coming the other way where he will actually get a game rather than bench warming at City but then why not when I expect he will be paid a fortune to do just that.
