Tottenham have reportedly agreed a fee of £5m with Swansea that will see Kyle Naughton move to the Welsh club.

Naughton arrived at Spurs from Sheffield United in a joint deal that also saw Kyle Walker move to White Hart Lane. Yet while Walker became a great success, Naughton struggled to establish himself and was often played out of position at left-back, where he looked terrible.

Tottenham fans were quickly out in force on Twitter to debate the transfer, with opinion seemingly split as to whether Swansea have been ripped off or whether the £5m is a fair price for the player.

  1. Well good luck to Kyle, who is not they best RB in the business but he is not terrible and has never moaned about anything as far as I know. He just got on with the the job and will be solid for Swansea. Pity we could not do a deal with Bony coming the other way where he will actually get a game rather than bench warming at City but then why not when I expect he will be paid a fortune to do just that.
