  1. I felt that we didn’t exert enough pressure in the early stages of the Game
and with our experimental side we made hard it going, suffice to say that
had FC Qarabag’s Striking been Better we might have ended up Drawing
    or even losing the Game
That said it was our first game in the present competition so hopefully we
will get Better game by game

  2. Loved the one touch passing (we invented it in the 30’s remember) a lot of young thoughtful intellectual players there with lams (I’m a BIG fan of this lad – another Bale in the making) but I also get completely where poch is taking his philosophy. quick intelligent passing, high up pressing, anticipation, footwork and speed. pleasure to watch both in attack and defence. Hope spurs fans support Poch and don’t bay too early for his resignation – we’ll struggle for results first half this season with the stolid rustic backlines of the top 4 but Lams and alli can find ways through like Hoddle and Villa used to. • You need to see your doctor and then visit Specsavers! Apart from the goal, he was woeful, particularly with his passing which was usually square and left short, conceding possession. I really want him to do well but I have yet to see him play an 8/10 game; he’s been a consistent 5.

  3. For me Lamela finally showed how good he can be, worked very hard and involved in some great moves. Delli Ali and Son make me very exited. Just need o sort our defence but that will come in time. Man of the match, Lamela.

  4. Eric Lamela showed us the huge talent he is. He must have more confidence in himself, he overcame a bad back injury ungrateful fans, his first timing passing is quite fantastic. The goal against Sunderland in which his exquiste pass gave Mason the chance and 3pts. Hugo was great. “here comes come the sun” the pop group sung. Well Son did that.I thought Carroll’s positive passing always caused Quarag problems. Potchettino is doing great. Danny had a poor game in some respects with 2 gaffes but he always keeps going and turns things around. MOTM was Lamela. Del-Alli was intelligent as was Kane who came on .No good team display and positive’s.

  5. Not sure what game I was watching but Lamela’s first half was truly awful and he was lucky to come out for the second half. The TV commentary team got it spot on when saying that just about every move broke down the minute he received the ball. Twice when through on goal he messed up, in the 1st half with a non existent 1st touch and in the 2nd half he took the ball off Allis toe to hit a post. True he improved a little as the game went on but look at the opposition, they come from one of the lowest ranked leagues in football. Elsewhere Trippier looked a nervous wreck and Rose poor in doing the simple thing. Carroll apparently made 89 passes, not one a key pass. You or I can do that, not one pass effected the game out of 89 ! No point in getting a lot of the ball and doing nothing with it, unlike Alli. Wimmer a big plus especially as Rose was having a mare next to him. Having watched the Anderlecht/Monaco game as well, we will have a torrid time with both if we produce a performance like last night.

      • Because most Spurs fans still want hin to come good. He’s not and never will be a Bale but he did have his best game for us yet against Palace so still signs of improving. Plus he works really, really hard for the team and never hides even when it hasn’t been going well for him.
