Tottenham have been linked with a move for the Japanese attacking midfielder Keisuke Honda.
Honda has long been on the radar of Spurs and could be available in January having been frozen out at AC Milan.
Everton are also said to be interested in Honda and it has to be said that the player is more likely to move to Merseyside.
At 29-years old Honda doesn’t seem to fit into the current transfer philosophy of the club. What’s more, he plays as an attacking midfielder or on the wing, when a striker and another defensive midfielder seem likelier targets for January.
That said, Honda would certainly be an exciting player to have at the Lane if a deal could be done cheaply. Here’s his highlights from last season.
