It’s finally here. The teams are in for first Premier League North London Derby of the campaign. Spurs and Arsenal have met once already this season, with the Gunners winning 2-1 at White Hart Lane in the Capital One Cup. Time for some revenge?
Tottenham name an unchanged side from the eleven that beat Aston Villa 3-1 on Monday night.
Danny Rose keeps his place at left back while Mousa Dembele plays in the attacking midfield trio behind lone striker Harry Kane.
Ryan Mason and Heung-Min Son are among Spurs’ substitutes.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the team news.
I hope Jan and Toby have got their thickest shinpads & sensible heads on today with no centre backs on the bench… #COYS

Having a player of Hueng Min Son's ability to bring off the bench later the games goes on could prove worthy to be our match-winner.

#thfc could get some joy down the left today against Debuchy, firstly with Eriksen but also with Rose, who gave him problems in the COC tie.

Happy with that Spurs line-up. Only concern is tired legs after 2 games this week. Son will provide energy from the bench #COYS

Unchanged starting XI from the one that faced Villa on Monday. Looking for a bit more of that Dembele magic again please! #COYS #NLD

That Arsenal team doesn't have a great deal of pace. Will we press high or act as we did last season and sit back? I can't decide!

If thfc win there will only be 3 points between the top 5. #COYS #ARSTOT

Let's hope this Dembelescence continues today!! #COYS

A win for Arsenal in #NLD would put them top of Prem. As if Spurs needed any more incentive to get a result today. #COYS

Im not too sure bout that team, Arsenal dont have much pace in defence, yet Spurs dont have no pace upfront! I would of started with Son and dropped Lamela.
