Spurs continued where they left off in the first half against Sunderland, adding second half goals through Mousa Dembele and Christian Eriksen.
First, Dembele collected the ball just inside the box, cut inside and smashed the ball into the bottom corner to give Tottenham the lead for the first time.
Eriksen then added his second of the game with a long range effort that deflected in off a Sunderland defender.
