After a successful loan period at Brentford last season, it looked as if Alex Pritchard would be moving back to the Championship in January.

Burnley and Middlesbrough were linked with the England U21 attacking midfielder, only for Premier League outfit West Brom to make a last minute move.

Pritchard was expected to feature in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad this season, only for injuries to wipe out his chances of playing during the first half of the campaign. Under the circumstances, the loan deal with West Brom could be the perfect opportunity for Pritchard to gain Premier League experience and fitness.

The 22-year old spoke to West Brom’s YouTube channel about the loan and his hopes for the future. Watch below.
