White Hart Lane is a pretty special place to be for an evening European match and there was a great atmosphere at last night’s 3-0 win over Fiorentina.
The highlight was the extended Park Lane/Shelf Side singalong that was spine-tingling in its intensity.
For the initiated this chant is just about the simplest to pick up. The Park Lane sing “We’re the Park Lane, we’re the Park Lane, we’re the Park Lane Tott-en-ham!”. The Shelf Side then reply, “We’re the Shelf Side, we’re the Shelf Side, we’re the Shelf Side Tott-en-ham!” Repeat ad nauseam.
Last night’s rendition is about as good as you’ll ever hear and lasted for around 15 minutes. Here’s a video that will give you an idea what it was like to be in the thick of the Park Lane crowd.

Great atmosphere with the Shelf and Park Lane but we’ve gotta get the Paxton off their backsides and the West Stand moving. “3-0 and a long way home” even had the Fiorentina fans singing but I hear they gave a Italian football journalist some trouble after the match for being jewish.
Boys from the park/shelf need to coordinate things and get a group in the other stands, that’s all it needs to get the singing
