Spurs fans will be hoping that we can go into tomorrow’s derby match against Arsenal with something approaching our strongest side.

Hugo Lloris will be in goal, with a back four of Kyle Walker, Danny Rose, Toby Alderweireld and Kevin Wimmer in front of him.

In midfield, Eric Dier could be partnered with the returning Mousa Dembele, which would be a massive boost to the team. Further forward it’s hoped that Dele Alli will be fit enough to start, alongside Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen, with Harry Kane leading the line.

Here’s our Tottenham side to face Arsenal. What’s yours?

  1. I agree with the team selection only, I would play 4-4-2 with Ali alongside & interchanging with Kane. Lamela RM & Erikson LM, Dier & Dembele CM ?

  2. Not for me Steve, we play a more fluid style than that, I think shape only really comes into it when we’re off/behind the ball and when we recover it and rebuild from the back,. Then you see us knock it across the width once or twice to allow dier to drop in and the full backs to go up into a 3-4-3 on the ball. Here’s hoping for a Dembele and Ali to be fit and Kane getting more involved. I fancy Lamelaand Kane to score tomorrow,. 2-1 win to the boys. COYS

  3. maybe a bit contreversial but i’d put Carroll in for Eriksen, who’s been a bit off the pace lately. i think a lot of our build up play from the back comes through Carroll when he’s on & he does move the ball on quickly.
he, Alli & Dembelle are all quite fluid & can all be attacking & also have the discipline to cover for each over defensively.
