With Leicester now eight points clear, the need for a win in tomorrow’s match against Bournemouth has intensified.

Thankfully, the distractions of cup competitions are now gone and Mauricio Pochettino no longer has to worry about rotating his squad, which means only injury or fluctuations in form are likely to impact upon the starting lineup.

With Jan Vertonghen still injured, Toby Alderweireld and Kevin Wimmer will start in front of Hugo Lloris, with Kyle Walker and Danny Rose at full-back.

Eric Dier is a doubt but should hopefully play against a Bournemouth team that have hit form. If injured, Ryan Mason is likely to start alongside Mousa Dembele.

Further forward the trio of Erik Lamela, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli will supply the bullets for Harry Kane.

  1. I don’t think anyone would argue with your starting XI, it picks itself now. Even in the fullback positions, Rose and Walker have shown they’ve got the edge over Trippier and Davies. COYS.

  2. That seems to be the common choice out of the players we have got. I am sure if Pritchard had started the season, he would be in there as well.

Dele Alli has not been at his best in the last few games, but after Son’s poor performance in the last game, he probably just shades it. Lamela has been working hard in winning the ball back, but is still not showing anywhere near enough in attack.

Our player of the season by far is Toby Alderweireld. What an amazing player. Spurs would be nowhere without him. He must be Spurs best ever buy.
