Christian Eriksen last night revealed his masterplan to end Leicester City’s title hopes.

The midfielder was interviewed at an awards ceremony where the Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel was named as the Danish Player of the Year. Asked about the rivalry between himself and his Denmark colleague as their respective teams fight it out for the Premier League title, Eriksen spoke of his plans for the international break.

“Now we need to injure Kasper. Of course he is injured when he returns to Leicester after two national games.”

We’re assuming he’s joking, but as plans go we’ve heard worse ones. Now one of the Spurs players in the England squad need to do something similar to Jamie Vardy.
