Tottenham hope to finish a fine season with a positive result at Newcastle on the final day of the Premier League campaign. A point will be enough to seal second place ahead of the old enemy Arsenal.
Surprisingly, Danny Rose has been relegated to bench with Ben Davies deputising at left back. The news comes as a bit of a shock given Rose’s apparent fitness and good form of late.
Ryan Mason keeps his place in the side, as does Son Heung-Min, with Mousa Dembele and Dele Alli still suspended.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to all the team news.

Davies > Rose ?

That'll surprise Townsend, who says in programme: "Im used to me & Danny Rose kicking lumps out of each other..so it won't be any different"

Interesting it's Rose who's rested. It felt like Walker was playing on passion alone last week, absolutely crackered!

Huge game for Mason in the heart of the midfield, lack of game-time certainly hasn't helped him, looked quite rusty in recent games.#THFC

Would much rather Mason ahead of Carroll. Both probably leaving too this summer. Need to strengthen our bench for Champions League.

Davies comes in for Rose. Maybe Poch has seen something in training regarding how Davies copes with Townsend. #thfc

Andros Townsend vs Ben Davies, can only think he's put Davies in there as he's slightly more defensive. Andros will want to prove a point

Why have we not started Carroll over Mason, the guy has struggled so much recently #COYS

Interesting team. Can't understand why he persists with Mason. Davies in to stop Townsend? Let's do this. #COYS https://t.co/RaWvCYPiqn

Should have moved Verthongen in beside Dier in midfield and played Wimmer with Toby
I've been umming and ahhing about buying this for a while, purely because of its coverage – I do prefer a fuller coverage so I don't know whether to purchase or not!Great re!Zowviee
, that he’s too big. Yes, he’s shown as a towering threat, but not that towering. However, if you’re willing to pretend that he’s been given a power boost by Mr. Sinister, or he’s been hitting the MGH or whatever, then maybe his size would make sense. Consider him added!
AHH YAY! I was just thinking about your blog the oher day and how much I missed it!Oy sorry to hear about all of the thyroid and hormone issues– that blows! It sounds like you’re staying positive in the midst of it all though 🙂 And HUGE yipee for the powerlifting meet!!! You’re gonna ROCK it!!
I'm going to make a priority to try it so I can blog about it soon, but I've heard similar things about the online play. I'm also worried because I've heard they block foreign IPs? If that's the case then a big portion of the game will be inaccessible which will be a shame
