The Telegraph have reported that Spurs are one of a trio of Premier League clubs considering a bid for Jack Grealish, with Everton and Stoke also interested.

Having impressed during Aston Villa’s run to the 2014-15 FA Cup Final, Grealish’s career has taken a downward turn. Villa were relegated and Grealish struggled to become a regular fixture in the side.

Yet with the youngster still only 20-years old, time is on the side for the attacking midfielder who recently featured in England’s successful Toulon campaign.

Able to play wide or centrally, Grealish certainly has the talent to go to the top of the game, but has to prove that he has the desire, after a number of high-profile off-field incidents.

With that in mind, Tottenham’s hard-working young squad could be the perfect environment for Grealish to knuckle down. Watch him in action below and let us know if you think that Grealish would be a decent signing for Spurs.

  1. Jack Grealish would be a great signing for any Premier club. The young man just needs to be ‘managed’ to bring the best out of him. It was a ‘shock’ for him not to get more game time last season- his energy and ability would’ve helped maintain Villa’s Premier status. Still, their loss could be our (Spurs) gain !
