Spurs have continued their policy of playing friendlies behind closed doors this summer and the highlights of their opening match of pre-season has just emerged online.

Tottenham ran out as 3-0 winners against Nottingham Forest, with Son Heung-Min, Tom Carroll and Alex Pritchard on target for a side lacking the usual suspects involved at Euro 2016.

The third goal in particular was a peach, created and scored by two players who have been linked with moves away from White Hart Lane this summer. Watch Nabil Bentaleb play a brilliant pass to Alex Pritchard, who cooly tucks it away. Could this duo save their Spurs careers with their exploits in pre-season?

  1. that friendly was a week ago & you just right about it now !!! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…
I live 200 miles away from whl & knew the score, scorers/assists, team etc etc etc the same day…
if your going to pretend to be a writer try to write first hand stories.
didn’t mommy tell you not to copy ?

  2. Vas did you not read the article? The highlights have only just been released, that’s why this article has just come out. Everyone knew the score, no one knew exactly how we played until now.

  3. I keep hearing so called experts telling us about those players Poch is kicking out this summer, only to find they’re still here.. calling decent prospects like Pritchard deadwood is laughable.
some of these players will develop into fine footballers.
if we’d listened to most of these X-BOX FIFA experts we’d have sold Kane off years ago.

  4. We should still sell Kane now ? Probably the most cumbersome and terrible footballer ever to win the golden boot. I’m Spurs through and through but cannot stand watching him play football and I never have done.

    • He could plod around the pitch like a drunken ape for all I care but as long as he’s scoring the amount of goals he is, he should most definitely not be sold.

  5. Kane is cumbersome, do me a favour, he works hard for the team, holds the balls up superbly and bangs in the goals. You are an idiot, without Kane the last two seasons we would have struggled, his goals and work ethic helped us wins matches. I’m guessing you would rather have a fancy highly skilled striker that doesn’t score goals… but looks good!
