Reports from France claim that the Georges-Kevin Nkoudou saga is almost over.

L’Equipe have reported that Marseille and Spurs have finally come to an agreement over Nkoudou, with Clinton Njie moving in the opposite direction.

The transfer had looked in danger of falling apart, as Tottenham looked to renegotiate the terms that had been originally agreed. The worry from White Hart Lane was over the fitness of Nkoudou, who was not training while waiting for the Njie portion of the deal to be concluded.

It’s now claimed than an agreement has been reached, with the fee at the least very close to the original figure of €13m plus bonuses.

Nkoudou’s arrival could spark more departures from Spurs, with Nacer Chadli looking surplus to requirements and linked to a transfer to Swansea.

The French U21 international would also add some much needed pace to the Tottenham attack. Let’s hope that this transfer is finally concluded next week.
