The Daily Mail has photographed Mauricio Pochettino in Spain as the Tottenham manager reportedly tries to push through some late transfer deals.
One of those deals, the report claims, is thought to involve Morgan Schneiderlin. Unless the Manchester United midfielder is also holidaying in Spain, this one might be a bit farfetched.
The player’s agent appears confident he won’t be on the move, too.

But Pochettino is known to be a fan of Schneiderlin. He tried to bring the Frenchman with him to White Hart Lane from former club Southampton.
Schneiderlin has suffered a difficult spell at Old Trafford, failing to make an impact under ex-boss Louis van Gaal and struggling to get into Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven so far this season.
Spurs are in the market for more of an attacking central midfielder than Schneiderlin. The 26-year-old roams more freely than Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama, but is still considered more of a holding midfielder.
This rumour might simply be a case of the Mail scrambling around for stories as most tabloids do on deadline day, but it’s worth keeping an eye on.
We hardly need another central midfielder
Why would he be in Spain then? Isco?
Holiday?
Like a Virgin
