Tottenham have matched Everton’s £30 million bid for Newcastle’s Moussa Sissoko, but will they get the deal over the line in time?
Sissoko was reportedly en route to Merseyside to join Everton before Newcastle accepted a bid from Spurs, according to Sky Sports. The player now faces a straight choice between his two suitors.

With Champions League football on offer, Sissoko is likely to be keen on choosing Tottenham over Everton. But the Toffees have already reportedly agreed terms with the player.
£30 million would represent a mammoth fee for a 27-year-old with little re-sale value. At first glance it appears to be a deal Spurs would usually steer well clear of, but it seems Daniel Levy is willing to sanction the transfer.
Tottenham and Everton now face nervous waits to see which club Sissoko chooses to join before the 11pm deadline.
If were willing to spend 30 million earlier in the window we could of got a better player
too true
I’m inclined to agree
Ha ha ha what a deal for a lazy shite who plays for himself . Great deal for Newcastle thanks spuds you been ripped lol
@ Toonarmy.. Hahahaa… No! Thank you!! ??
On the basis that we can spend a totally ridiculous amount of money on an average player , I believe our chairman should reduce ticket prices for remainder of the season ! Clearly Spurs have more money than sense !
