Vincent Janssen hasn’t shown his best form since signing for Spurs in the summer, but last night he gave Tottenham fans a tantalising glimpse at what he’s capable of.
The 22-year old scored a brilliant goal in the Netherlands’ 4-1 win over Belarus, that will hopefully give Janssen a confidence boost when he returns to international duty.
Taking the ball past two defenders, Janssen smashed a left-foot shot into the top corner. It was his fourth goal in eight international appearances and put the finishing touch on a victory that saw Holland move to the top of their World Cup qualifying group.
