Christian Eriksen broke the deadlock after half an hour of Tottenham’s FA Cup quarter-final clash with Millwall at White Hart Lane.

The Dane began the game among the substitutes, but an early injury to Harry Kane speeded up his introduction.

Kane came close to opening the scoring in the first five minutes, but injured his ankle when his right leg was caught in a challenge from a Millwall defender.

There was a sense of worry around the Lane because of Kane’s absence, but Eriksen settled things down with a fine opener. You can watch the goal below.

Heung-Min Son doubled the scoring just before half-time with an even better goal.
