When given the rare opportunity to prove himself in Liverpool’s first team, Spanish midfielder Suso obviously didn’t do enough, making only 18 appearances for the Merseyside club before moving to AC Milan two years ago.
Things have changes since, though — Suso has impressed in Serie A and now The Mirror is linking the 23-year-old with a move to Tottenham.
The report suggests Spurs are interested in signing Suso this summer. The playmaker, who has scored six league goals and assisted seven this season, has just two years left on his current contract.
At just 23, there is certainly potential for Mauricio Pochettino to craft Suso into a superstar. Of course, it all depends on how much Milan want for the player, and how much Tottenham are willing to shell out on wages.
Suso scored a cracking goal in the Milan derby in November last year.
