If you asked Tottenham fans to name the club’s worst ever signing, at least in recent years, most would say Paulinho.
The Brazilian signed for Spurs in the summer of 2013 for around £17 million after a string of impressive performances for his country. It’s safe to say he didn’t live up to expectations — you can watch one of his most infamous moments in a Tottenham shirt below.

A bizarre report from French publication RMC Sport suggests Paulinho is a summer target for Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. The story claims Bayern manager Carlo Ancelotti has personally asked the club to sign him, and that talks have already begun with the player’s agent.
To the surprise of many, Paulinho recently scored a hat-trick for Brazil against Uruguay. Could we be experiencing some sort of resurgence of the once promising pre-Spurs Paulinho? Surely not.
Most would say Sissoko!!
