Willian scored his and Chelsea’s second goal of the game just before half-time to give the Blues a 2-1 lead going into the break.
The Brazilian opened the scoring with a well struck free-kick inside five minutes after Pedro was brought down just outside of the penalty area.
Harry Kane stooped low to brilliantly head in Christian Eriksen’s cross just before the twentieth minute and Spurs were level.
But when Victor Moses got the better of Heung-Min Son down Tottenham’s left side, Chelsea were awarded a penalty.
