Mauricio Pochettino has claimed Tottenham are “thinking of bigger things” than finishing above Arsenal ahead of this weekend’s North London derby.
Spurs beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at Selhurst Park on Wednesday evening to keep up the pressure on Premier League leaders Chelsea.
And Pochettino believes Spurs should be concentrating on catching Antonio Conte’s side rather than finishing higher than the Gunners in the table.
“We are not thinking to be above Arsenal,” Pochettino said after the Palace game. “Our challenge now is to try to reduce again the gap with Chelsea and to think [about] bigger things than to only be above Arsenal.”
